Favorite Font Friday [week 1]

Hello :)

I'm Kayse, nice to meet you! I am a wife and mother of 2 by day, and a blogger/crafter/designer by night (or whenever I can squeeze in a few spare seconds). I own a cute little Etsy shop called The Little Owl Nest where I sell many of my creations.

You can check that out here: The Little Owl Nest
or
follow me on Facebook here: The Little Owl Nest Facebook for all the latest updates.

I am also a self proclaimed font addict! There's just something about a beautiful script that sets my heart a flutter ♥

So, starting today, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite fonts and font combos. Look for a brand new set every Friday along with links where you can snatch up these little beauties for yourself.

Without further ado, here is my first set of Beautiful Script Fonts.

1. Made with Love ~ Octavia
2. Wild Heart ~ Steelheart
3. Hello Sunshine ~ Hello Sunshine
4. Love is Sweet ~ Florabella

Did you enjoy these fonts? Then share the love!

  5. It seems that the fonts are now for sale, but the information on the page hasn't been updated to reflect that they are no longer free.

    1. I just reread, and I guess it doesn't say free anymore. Pintrest has it as a pin that says free.

    2. I'm sorry that Pinterest had these listed as free :/ I've never advertised them as "free fonts". They are beautifully and artistically created by some of the best font illustrators out there and are definitely worth the money :)

  8. Hi-if I purchase the fonts, Octavia for example, how do I get the pretty squigly curls on the letters? Is there an extra step I have to perform to make them like that?

    1. Hi Karen :)

I'm not sure why my post keeps showing up in free font searches, I have never advertised them as such. These are definitely worth the money though and if you keep an eye out the designers offer coupons and specials all the time :)

  16. I am so disappointed. :-( I love fonts but clicked here because Pinterest indicates they're "FREE". I feel tricked into a sale when I'm linked into having to make a purchase to get them instead.

Yes, two of those beautiful fonts are very popular at Creative Market.

    1. Pinterest, really? You do realise that just because its on Pinterest, doesn't mean they're still free.
A lot of sites have specials on, so looks like you missed out!! lol

  18. I paid for and downloaded the Octavia font (made with love) and it doesn't look like the "made with love" that you have. are you sure thats the font you used?

    1. Hi! Yes, it is definitely Octavia... you have to use the
ligatures to get the swirls. Here is a tutorial from the designer! http://youtu.be/4aZpylWG3OM
